Q. study rooms and meetings

How do I check out a study room or meeting room? Or, I'm a faculty member and I would like to use the instruction room: how do I do this?

Answer

Study Rooms are available for student check out from the library Check Out Desk.  You may occupy as a group or individual for up to 2 hours at a time.  Most study rooms accommodate maximum 6 people.

Study rooms are only available on a first come, first serve basis.  Students must be present, and a student ID card is necessary.  White board markers and technology available to check out as well.  Follow the link below for phone numbers and more information.

Meeting Rooms are available in the library, please contact the Library Secretary Carmen Moreno at 386-6709.  She can help with dates, meeting room sizes, technology and availability.

The Instruction Room is available for faculty use, has computer terminals and overhead projection, as well as printing from every terminal; a one-time library instruction session is most often required.  Call Carmen Moreno to schedule instruction room availability, or email near.d@mccd.edu.
