How do I check out study rooms?
Answer
Study rooms are available for small groups of students to use at both the Downey Learning Resources Center and the Los Baños Campus Library.
Downey Learning Resource Center
There are 9 study rooms between both floors of the Downey Center.
- All study rooms must be checked out with MCCD ID from either the 1st floor or 2nd floor Service Desk
- Check out time is 1 hour
- Rooms may be re-checked out if no one else is waiting for a study room
- Each room seats up to 5 people
- Each room has a whiteboard
- 6 study rooms on the 1st floor
- Rooms 131 & 132 include collaborative technology that allow you to connect your phone or laptop to monitors using ClickShare Buttons

Los Baños Campus Library
The library in Los Baños has 2 study rooms.
- All study rooms must be checked out with MCCD ID from the Service Desk
- Check out time is 2 hours
- Rooms may be re-checked out if no one else is waiting for a study room
- Room 123 seats 4 people
- Room 124 seats 6 people
- Each room has a whiteboard and computer
