What is the process for students to apply to work at the library?

The Merced and Los Banos campuses each have a specific application process. 

Start at the Financial Aid office!

In Merced, applications are done through the Financial Aid Office.  In Los Banos, applications are managed by the Student Support Coordinator at the Interdisciplinary Literacy Center.

Depending on what Work Study programs your qualify for, along with your class schedule, we can then determine where your skills will best match.  We have multiple departments in the library--so if it doesn't work out in one place, perhaps we can fit you in another: or somewhere else on-campus.
