Can members of the community use the library?

Community Members & Non-Credit Students
Members of the community are welcome to spend time in the library, but most library resources, including checking out of materials, are restricted to Merced College students currently enrolled in credit-bearing courses and Merced College employees.
The library does have four catalog computer stations available in the common area between the sit-down computer stations and the Information Desk. These are available to everyone for quick use. There are no printers connected to these computers.
Students Enrolled in Credit Courses
Most library resources, including checking out of materials, study rooms, computers, and printing, are available for Merced College students currently enrolled in credit-bearing courses, including those taking Merced College online classes or Merced College courses through area high schools, and Merced College employees.
