Q. Can a non student use the library?

What is the library's policy for a person not enrolled at Merced College to use the library?

Answer

Merced College Library is here for you!

Most of the resources located at the Learning Resource Center, in which the library is located, are only for students who are enrolled in any capacity--that includes any student enrolled part time, full time, distance learner, or through the high schools.  If you are a non-credit student, those resources may not be available to you, but we encourage you to come speak with a librarian to determine access.  Checkout material is limited only to enrolled students.

We DO have open standup computers in our library common area.  All patrons of the Merced College Libraries must adhere to the Code of Conduct when on school premises.
