Is the stipend distributed in a lump sum?
Answer
No. The stipend will be given in installments based on the completion of specific modules and assignments in the ZTC/OER Grant training course in Canvas.
- Selected participants will need to complete a Zoom or in-person orientation in order to be added to the training.
- The Getting Started and Modules 1-5 will run between Friday, September 23-Sunday, October 23 at 11:59 PM.
- The Getting Started module and Module 1 run Friday, September 23-Sunday, October 2
- Module 2 runs Sunday, October 2-Sunday, October 9
- Modules 3 and 4 run Sunday, October 9-Sunday, October 16
- Module 5 runs Sunday, October 16-Sunday, October 23
- Adopters and advocates will receive $250 for successfully completing the Getting Started modules and Modules 1-5 in the ZTC/OER Grant course.
- Adopters must also complete the Adopter module (deadlines vary)
- Receive $500 for completing the Syllabus assignment in the Adopters module (deadlines vary)
- Receive $250 for completing the Faculty Survey assignment (deadlines vary)
- Student surveys are not connected to your stipend because we can't guarantee students will submit surveys.
- Advocates must also complete the Advocate module (deadlines vary)
- Receive $250 for completing the Mentor Log assignment (due Friday, December 16)
- Receive $250 for completing the Professional Development Presentation assignment (due Friday, December 16).
- Receive $250 for completing the Faculty Survey assignment (deadlines vary)
