OneSearch

You can search for ebooks through OneSearch, the library catalog. OneSearch can help you find print books, textbooks on reserve, DVDs, eBooks, and articles from many library databases. Think of it as your starting place for research.

To find an eBook in OneSearch:

• Type the title of the book or your keyword terms in the search bar.
• Use the filters on the left side of the screen to narrow your search. 
  • Use the "Resource Type" filter and select "Books."
  • Use the "Availability" filter and select "Available online."
• Applying the filters described above will limit your search results to eBooks. 

Library Databases

The library also subscribes to several databases that offer eBooks. 

• Click on the Databases link in the middle of the library homepage.
• This will direct you to the A-Z Databases page, which is a list of all of the library's databases organized in alphabetical order.
• Filter by "Database Type" and select "eBooks."
• When you click on the name of the database to search, you will be prompted to enter your MC Portal username and password.
• After you log in, you can start searching.
